About Stratus Results
Small teams. Deep deployment.
Stratus Results helps small teams put AI into sales, marketing and knowledge workflows through Forward Deployed Engineering. Focused tools are in validation; infrastructure work is limited to needs assessment and partner scoping.
We work alongside the people doing the task, from understanding the problem to putting the system into daily use.
Start a Conversation ↗Why this model
Keep the people defining, building and using the system connected.
An AI project can lose its purpose when strategy, engineering and daily operations are handled separately. A technically sound tool may still miss the task, require information people cannot access or add work for its users.
Forward Deployed Engineering keeps those decisions close together. We work with the business owner and users to understand the process, build a focused implementation and observe how it works in practice.
That means asking how the team will use it, who approves its outputs and who maintains it while the system is being designed.
Understand the FDE model ↗How we organize a project
A focused team, with clear responsibilities.
The core team coordinates the work. Specialist engineers contribute where the project needs their expertise. Customer-side owners provide business context, decisions and access to the people who will use the system.
AI helps with research, drafting and repeatable tasks. People remain responsible for technical review, customer commitments and actions that need approval.
Before work starts, we agree who is involved, their availability and what each person owns. Specialist partners contribute to an agreed scope; they are not presented as permanent staff.
Expertise starts the work. Continuity keeps it useful.
Individual expertise can start a project. The company's responsibility is to make the delivery understandable, coordinated and maintainable as people and requirements change.
- Continuity and coordination
- Maintain a clear point of contact, a record of decisions and a plan for handover. Keep scope, dependencies and changes visible.
- Documentation
- Explain how to use the workflow, what information it relies on and how to recover when something fails.
- Delivery standards and technical review
- Agree acceptance checks, review important implementation decisions and retain evidence of what was tested.
- Maintainability
- Name the people responsible for updates, access and technical issues. Make any ongoing support and improvement work explicit.
These responsibilities are defined for each project. The customer's business owner makes business decisions and accepts the workflow; the project and technical leads coordinate and implement it.

We choose tools after understanding the work. Configure an existing system when it is enough. Build where the project requires it. If clearer responsibilities or ordinary automation can solve the problem, use that simpler approach.
Begin with one recurring task, an internal owner and a way to judge the result. Expand only when the implementation and its actual use justify the next step.
