Solutions · Forward Deployed Engineering

Connect AI to the work people actually do.

Start with one recurring task. Work with the business owner and users, connect approved information and systems, and build a pilot the team can test and take over.

Who is this for?

Sales, marketing and operations teams that repeatedly find information, prepare content or answer internal questions across documents, software and people. A useful starting point has a business owner and authorized information. First, we check whether existing software or ordinary automation is enough.

If data access, a reviewer or a defined task is missing, resolve that first. A one-off task may need no new system.

FIRST PILOT · PROPOSED SCOPE

One task, one information set, one review path.

For example: retrieve approved information for one product line and prepare a sales reply with references. A sales owner reviews it before sending. Missing sources, conflicting prices or questions outside the scope stop the workflow for human review.

You provide
A business owner, a small set of approved samples, the existing process and colleagues available to try the workflow.
Project deliverables
A workflow map, scope and permissions, a working prototype, test records, instructions and a manual fallback. The written scope defines the final deliverables.
Acceptance
Use agreed samples to check grounding, human approval, access isolation, missing information and failures. Record the existing process before comparing corrections or handling time; no improvement percentage is assumed.
Outside the scope
Unapproved data collection, automatic external sending, model training, hardware supply or ongoing operations that have not been agreed.
Fees and timing
Agreed after reviewing interfaces, data conditions and available people. The website promises no fixed duration, price or guaranteed outcome.

What does FDE do?

Forward Deployed Engineering keeps the people building a system close to its users through discovery, pilot, deployment and improvement. Work may connect the interface, information, existing model services, integrations, human review and handover. Using suitable existing tools does not imply building foundation models or owning hardware.

Who is responsible?

The business owner sets priorities and accepts the result. The project lead coordinates scope and decisions. The technical lead implements, tests and hands over. Users try the workflow, and a reviewer approves outputs requiring judgement. Each project names the people before work starts.

When is it ready for daily use?

Passing tests is followed by checking operating access, staff use, exception handling and maintenance responsibility. A pilot may proceed, change or stop. Deployment and everyday adoption are verified separately.
