Workflow design · Illustrative

One reviewed brief becomes reusable content.

A scoped design example for repurposing approved business material. This article is not evidence of a running customer automation.

The Forward Deployed Engineering model connects these technical steps with business ownership and everyday use.

1. Input

The business owner supplies licensed assets and approved product facts and terminology. Missing sources or permissions stop the process.

2. Process

Use a defined template to organize audience, topic, sources and a draft. Keep unknown facts pending; do not let a model fill in numbers.

3. Human review

A reviewer checks facts, rights, tone and customer commitments, recording approval or rejection. Publishing stays closed until approval.

4. Execute

Use the agreed publishing action only with an available platform API, confirmed account permissions and approval. Give each content version a unique identifier to prevent duplicate publication.

5. Record

Retain the version, sources, reviewer, approval time, execution status and external content URL. An execution record does not prove reach or commercial results.

6. Recover

Missing input goes to a person; rejection returns to editing. After an API timeout, inspect whether publication already occurred before retrying. Keep error states instead of blindly publishing twice.

Acceptance examples

Give the workflow a brief missing its source: it must stop. Reject a draft: nothing is published. Approve the same version twice: one execution only. Simulate an API failure: retain the draft and expose the recovery step. These are proposed tests, not claimed completed runs.
