FDE capability / Marketing workflow deployment
Help people and AI understand your business.
Stratus Results helps small teams put AI into sales, marketing and knowledge workflows through Forward Deployed Engineering. Focused tools are in validation; infrastructure work is limited to needs assessment and partner scoping.
Within that FDE model, GEO is one capability we may use to improve how a business is discovered and understood across AI-powered search and recommendation environments.

GEO means generative engine optimization. It focuses on how business information can be understood and cited in AI search. It builds on SEO foundations: readable pages, useful answers, consistent facts and credible sources.
The practical question is whether a buyer can find and understand the information they need. Marketing and sales teams provide the questions, approved product facts and evidence; website and content changes help make that information accessible.
Discovery is one step. The wider workflow also needs a usable contact route, confirmed receipt and someone responsible for follow-up.
A practical method.
- Establish the starting point. Record the buyer questions, current pages and accessible search information. Note what is missing or inconsistent.
- Improve the source. Use approved facts to clarify products, applications, process, limitations and contact steps. A business owner reviews changes before publication.
- Observe consistently. Repeat the same recorded questions with a stated platform, language and context. Keep the original answers and source URLs.
- Review and maintain. Compare observations, record changes and assign an owner to keep business information current.
Inputs and possible deliverables
Inputs include website access, approved business information, publishable evidence and customer questions. Private search and analytics records require authorization.
A scoped project may produce an issue log, approved information sheet, page changes, observation template and retest instructions. Delivery checks cover readable content, metadata, links and the agreed changes; ongoing observation is agreed separately.
ILLUSTRATIVE METHOD
Example: turn a vague product page into a useful answer.
Before: a manufacturer's page says only “quality solutions.” A buyer cannot judge applications or working requirements.
Change: explain applications, specification ranges, process and limitations using approved source material, then give the buyer a clear contact step.
Observation: save the original page and question. Repeat the question after the change using a recorded date, platform, language and context. Log whether the business is mentioned and which pages are cited.
This is a proposed method, not an executed outcome experiment. A completed page change alone does not establish a search or business improvement.
Measure four signals separately.
A mention may contain no link. A citation does not prove a visit, and a visit does not confirm customer intent. Connect those steps only when separate evidence is available.
Keep a repeatable observation record.
Record the question, date, platform, model information when available, language, context, brand mention, website citation, cited URL and notes. Blank means untested.
One sample is not a market-wide ranking. Search and AI outputs can vary, so observations do not guarantee recommendations, citations or enquiries.
